About Us

All kinds of interesting things happen on the Chigger Ridge farm.  On this website, we want to share with you some of the things we experience while living way out in the country.  There never seems to be a dull moment.

Moving to Chigger Ridge was our dream come true.  We had always talked about moving to the country, but never could seem to work it out.  Finally, in 2003, it happened. 

Little did we know, . . . .yes, little did we know about farming and all the other stuff that happens out in the country.  We’ve certainly learned a few things from all our experiences, so far – some good and some bad.  And we have much more to learn.

This website is our way of sharing with you some of the wonderful things we experience.  We hope to share some of our stories and offer some solutions to problems you might also be facing.

Chigger Ridge is located on the edge of the Ozarks in Southwest Missouri.  Not many people know about it – it’s hidden away quite well.  Although it’s hard work to keep it up, it’s like living at our vacation get-a-way.  Every day is special.

Take a look through our website – as you browse through our pages, I think you’ll come to know Chigger Ridge fairly well.  Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
